About Jimmy
I am a professional translator and teacher of the Russian language. I have been studying the language for over 7 years now. I spent several of my college years perfecting my knowledge of the language by living in both Russia and Ukraine. My teaching method is such that the curriculum is designed to be tailor-made to support the objectives of the student. My first lesson always includes an evaluation of the student’s reading, writing, listening and speaking skills. I then have the student clarify what his/her goals are. We then agree on an approach that will help the student reach those goals in the most efficient way possible. It is at this point that I provide the student with a textbook from a collection that I have selected personally. The student may also provide their own materials if desired.
