About Luca
I like to focus on marking criteria and establish what we need to be aiming for. This allows us to have open-ended discussions on content and technique where I can explain content and refine research and writing processes to level up your end product. Lesson times range from 30 minutes to 1 hour 30 minutes depending on what you want to achieve and require. Lessons are aimed at students from GCSE to A-level.

Having graduated from a Russell Group university with a Law degree, I understand the difficulties that both research and writing in essay-based subjects entail. From my own experience, I know how important the understanding of concepts in History is in enabling you to produce strong essays. I pride myself on being adaptable to different types of learners, being able to rephrase and explain concepts to suit my student. My aim is to provide the most positive learning experience, creating an environment where my students feel comfortable asking any questions (there are no silly questions), and leave each lesson having learned something new.
