Matt is the best trumpet teacher ever! So far I've had three lessons with him and they are so cool. He is nice and friendly and makes me want to play. He makes you want to learn.

For example, if I make a mistake, he smiles and helps me get it right. He manages to explain stuff so I don’t have a problem understanding anything. Also, he has a lot of good suggestions and simple ways that make me better in no time!

We do lots of different things in the lessons. We sing and play nice songs that I actually want to sing and play, and he lets me pick some of them! He helps me learn music theory, which I never used to like and now I quite enjoy it. I honestly never imagined that I would have this much fun during a classical lesson.

He gives me kind of homework and I actually enjoy doing it.

He is really supportive and I look forward to each lesson.
