Dr Rose, Oxford University educated tutor offering history, sociology and English tutoring in Wiltshire & online

Janet has been tutoring for 10 years and she has been very successful. She has a great rapport with the students and has 99% + success rate, with her tutees scoring A-C at GCSE and A level. Many of her students each year score A grades.

Recent students have improved from grade D to grade A* (History), grade C to grade A (History and English) and grade F to grade B (History).

Janet is extremely well qualified, with 2 x degrees from Oxford University, plus an undergraduate degree and a teaching qualification. She keeps up to date with changes in the syllabus and regularly takes training courses to keep her own skills sharp.

When Janet sat her own A levels she achieved A* grades in History, English Literature and Religious Studies, plus A grade in Sociology. So she knows what it takes to get very high grades!

Oxford University recommended Janet for a national award whilst she was an undergraduate, when she achieved the highest-ever score in her yearly exams. She was also awarded a scholarship from Oxford University Theology Faculty at Doctoral Level. Her Doctoral research was funded by the Arts and Humanities Research Council and her doctoral thesis "The Woman who Claimed to be Christ' can be found in the British Library.
