SAT & ACT:
I give tips and tricks to help students conquer these standardized tests with the potential to bring their scores up by 100 points or more. I will strive to give students comfortability under timed conditions by molding their thinking habits to be more accurate in absorbing information and more efficient in solving answers through quick techniques that appeal to these tricky timed conditions.
Math Standardized Test Preparation:
I am all about making math as smooth and easy as possible. I teach in the style of solving problems quickly and with clever techniques that let you solve seemingly hard problems in seconds. I love showing students the "magic" in math by teaching unique and efficient techniques that they are not typically taught in school.
I like to tell it how it is and explain topics in a way that is easily understandable to the student. I always call it "giving the run-down" as I explain the concepts with no scary big math words.
English Standardized Test Preparation:
This preparation focuses on comprehension under timed conditions. Students will be taught tricks on how to organize their reading habits through the use of previous SAT & ACT tests, giving a clear example on what is to be expected on the actual test. I will focus on using techniques that will help students find and eliminate answers quickly and confidently. Through tricks and tips that I have sharpened for many years.

Methodology & Techniques:
With my specialty teaching techniques under timed conditions, I strive to show students the "magic" of academics.
I have spent many years cracking the code of SAT & ACT Test, with self-made techniques that will help students persevere and understand in the most efficient way.
My experience in tutoring for standardized tests under timed conditions, such as ACT & SAT, has taught me clever ways to solve seemingly difficult problems that allow students to better understand and be more comfortable with what they are learning.
I call these techniques "math and English magic" as I provide clever trick to find the solution to a problem. I then open up the curtain to the students to reveal why the clever trick works. This allows them to better comprehend concepts from a foundation standpoint.
Typical Lesson Plan:
-A pre-created packet will be given to the students that covers the basic fundamentals seen in both SAT and ACT Math sections
- The topics are spit into 6-8 sections in both Reading and Math.
-Each session will fully cover around 2 topics.
-Progress will be assessed through practice tests taken straight from previous College Board SAT & ACT tests to gauge whether a student will need more advanced work or a refresh on what was learned previously
-The sessions strive to go at the pace of the student's learning, allowing them to feel confident and less overwhelmed by new material.
-By the end of the sessions students will have learned efficient techniques to conquer all sections of both ACT & SAT tests.
