About Yasser
I am a Robotics Engineering student at Queen Mary University of London (QMUL), specializing in the intersection of low-level systems programming, embedded hardware architecture, and computer vision data pipelines.
Long before stepping into a university lecture hall, I made it my personal mission to master the absolute foundations of pure computer science. I have successfully conquered Harvard University’s rigorous CS50x and CS50P software tracks, mastering manual memory allocation, complex graph theory algorithms in C, and production-grade enterprise Python scripting frameworks.
Having navigated the transition from a casual programmer to a structured systems architect myself, I know exactly where the hidden educational walls are that cause students to get frustrated and quit. I don't teach you to memorize code lines; I train your brain to think algorithmically like an engineer.
Outside of academia, I consult on technical automation layouts and write backend infrastructure tracking pipelines. My background allows me to provide students with a massive competitive advantage, equipping them with the exact technical portfolio standards, debugging muscle memory, and coding discipline required to secure top grades and stand out to elite university programs.

Many computer science students fall into the trap of 'vibe coding'—copying tutorial text, guessing syntax, or relying blindly on AI prompts without ever understanding how code actually functions. When the logic gets complex or exam constraints hit, their systems crash. My lessons are designed strictly to break this cycle.
I teach Computer Science from the ground up, ensuring students build an unassailable molecular understanding of how software interacts with a computer's hardware, memory, and logic loops. My curriculum layout directly bridges theoretical principles with real-world enterprise standards.
What a typical 1-on-1 session looks like:
The Logic Mapping (First 15 Mins): We step away from the keyboard entirely. We use digital whiteboards to break down the algorithm, sketch out data flows, and map out architectural steps manually. If you can't solve it on paper, you can't code it on a screen.
Live Practical Execution (Next 35 Mins): The student takes the driver's seat. We write clean, modular code, focusing on proper syntax architecture, object-oriented principles, and defensive design.
The Enterprise Standard (Final 10 Mins): We don't just check if the code works; we write automated unit tests to try and break it intentionally. We review space-time complexity (Big-O notation) to ensure the solution is optimized to standard enterprise benchmarks.
Whether you are a GCSE/A-Level student struggling to debug your Python NEA programming project, or a complete beginner trying to conquer foundational variables, arrays, and relational SQL databases, I tailor every session to your specific exam board criteria (OCR/AQA) to guarantee structural exam competence.
