About Rohan
As I've stated I'm an engineering graduate in IT, who has a lot of experience teaching a wide range of age groups in the past. I've taken programming classes for various high school students and a couple of undergraduate students back in India.
I have actively worked with programming languages like C, C++, Java. I'm currently in the process of learning Python, so I would be able to help solve basic Python queries too.
Besides that I have a lot of experience working with various database techniques like MySQL and mongodb.

I'm a postgraduate Data Science student at RMIT University.
My teaching technique includes a lot of interactive problem solving sessions; as I believe that without practical implementation of what you've learned, it is very difficult to call yourself completely literate in that particular subject. So practical sessions is something I focus on greatly during the course.
Let us take a C programming class for example.
So during the first few lectures I usually try to explain the student the benefits of the language and the various pros and cons it has compared to other programming languages.
As we proceed further I generally start with the basic constructs, variables and assignments in the language.
Once the student feels that he has some grasp on the basics , I start with practical sessions then, as starting practicals before grasping the basics will lead to improper understanding of the language.
In each practical session I solve a type of problem with the student and usually hand out 2 more problems to work on their own, as self study is the best kind of practice one can get. So in the next lecture I discuss the problems students may have with their homework, and I hope they have a lot of problems, as o believe making mistakes is the best way to learn.

I work with Rohan as a Data Scientist on the same team, in a slightly more senior position myself. I can see his passion for teaching on a daily basis. From helping younger Data Scientists gets projects across the board, to teaching stakeholders proper ways to digest complex information, to encouraging across the team a culture of continuous learning and excellence. It's not a surprise for me that Rohan turns his energy to teaching, since his communication style and willingness to spread knowledge it's probably the first few things that sprung to mind when I think about Rohan as a person and as a professional.
He has solid Computer Science skills, and mathematical tools to guide problem solving in a really organised manner, so the thought process is correctly guided from first principles. Organisation and tidiness of presentation are paramount for him, so clarity is something that is definitely something you get out of interactions with him, which simplifies communication and makes you look forward to future engagements.
Can absolutely recommend his tutoring and classes to anyone who wants to progress on their computer science/data science or math skills guided by a thoughtful tutor who will really care about your goals and intended outcomes.Rohan has a great depth of experience solving business problems using AI. Given his amazing technical capabilities, his ability to articulate complex model details to a range of stakeholders and his personable approach to mentoring, he would be an ideal teacher in this space.
