About Ellie
My name is Ellie! I'm seventeen years old with fiery red hair and am about to be a senior in high school. I'm from Maryland from a phenomenal school district where I have learned and taught lots of various subjects. I play 6 instruments (jazz, marching, pep, pit), am involved with sports and theater, scouting, and school governments. I've been teaching kids for years in a plethora of areas. Scouting, English, Music, Math, Leadership and I love it. I love building connections and confidence in these skills. Despite being just a junior in high school, it's a benefit no doubt. I understand how to adapt and the best way to teach subjects that are hard to grasp at first and love learning and understanding how to teach different kinds of students. I'm excited to work with you!

-PRIORITY is making concepts as simple and easy to understand as possible -Adaptable to different learning styles (visual, auditory, writing) -Lesson slides based on students' needs that use helpful graphics and visuals -Lessons are for anybody looking for help with Pre-Algebra, Algebra 1, Geometry, and trigonometry, Earth Sciences, Biology (NOT AP), and Chemistry (NOT AP) on the standard high school level. -I have past students who have learned great amounts through the way I teach. I ask that the people I tutor are ready to be interactive through the screen, by sharing a whiteboard online and after explaining the concept and process asking that they try themselves. -Usage of STEP by STEP methodology of teaching, especially for math. -Meeting on Google Meets :)
