About Martin
I was a classroom teacher for 25 years and since I live along the US-Mexico border I often had recent immigrant students in my classes who were learning English and spoke mainly Spanish. I had to gradually get them to learn and respond, read, write, and speak English. I never once got any complaints from these students or parents for my teaching style.

I like my lessons to be one on one am willing to work with small groups. Participation on the students part is very important in order for them to learn. I use immersion in that I feel it is the best way for them to learn. Lessons are geared towards students 8 years old to 99.

Martin is a professional, sociable and friendly teacher and person. He is attentive to my needs as a student and helps me stay motivated to learn English.

Our lessons take the form of pleasant and friendly conversations on a variety of topics. If I have difficulty expressing my thoughts, Martin gently suggests how to formulate them better. As a native speaker, he also enriches my vocabulary with useful words and phrases, thanks to which my English sounds more natural.
