I have had a successful career in teaching, focusing during the last ten years in offender learning. During this time our success rate has been over 85% and learners have gone on to begin open university courses or achieved B.tech or NVQ qualifications.

My teaching is very much learner orientated. I believe that targets should be set by the student which would be reviewed regularly. Targets should include both subject learning and character building using 'soft targets' as short term goals.
