I am a retiree looking to help others after serving over 22 years in the federal government (one of those secret three-letter-acronym agencies). I have a BA in English from Dickinson College in Carlisle, PA. I have held various positions in management, writing, and editing that gives me a strong skill set to help others who struggle with reading, writing, grammar, and comprehension.

I teach based on the needs of the student. I first need to assess the student’s abilities and learning style and then hone my method to what will best support them. Everyone learns differently and has different strengths and challenges, which is why it’s important not to box anyone into one style of teaching.
