About Nina
With a Bachelor of Arts in Musicology and 3 years of experience, I teach jazz piano with a focus on improvisation and comping. Lessons emphasize harmonic vocabulary, transcription, ear training, and rhythmic precision. I aim to combine technical mastery with creative expression.
I work with Early Intermediate to Advanced Intermediate students and professional jazz musicians. Students practice improvisation, chordal voicings, and jazz phrasing. My approach balances structured exercises with free exploration of musical ideas.

I focus on teaching pop piano in a fun and practical way. Lessons include chord voicings for popular songs, playing by ear, arranging contemporary pieces, and mastering modern techniques. Students can play songs they love from the first session.
I work with hobbyist adults and pop players, helping them develop skill, creativity, and confidence. We practice chord progressions, melodies, and rhythms typical in pop music. Transcription exercises strengthen listening and improvisation skills.
Arranging songs allows for personal expression and creativity. Lessons are interactive, hands-on, and engaging. Students gain the ability to play solo or accompany others confidently.
