About Brinley
With over 6 years of experience as a violin tutor, I am dedicated to developing confident musicians both individually and in ensembles. I hold a BM in Music Education with a focus on Orchestral Strings – Violin. My teaching is rooted in collaboration. It brings music to life.
I have directed string ensembles, youth orchestras, and group violin classes, helping students grow through shared musical experiences. Ensemble work builds listening skills and awareness. It also builds connection.
I specialize in chamber music coaching, focusing on balance, blend, and communication between players. We work on section leading, tuning as a group, and understanding ensemble dynamics. Every role is important.
My experience includes working with schools, community centers, and chamber groups. These environments encourage teamwork and creativity.
I believe music is strongest when shared. Let’s explore the joy of ensemble playing and grow together through sound.

My teaching approach focuses on building strong violin technique while preparing you for confident performances. Playing well is important. Performing with confidence matters just as much.
We begin with posture, bow control, tone, and intonation to create a solid foundation. These basics support everything you play. From there, we develop musical expression and control. Step by step.
I include performance anxiety management in lessons, helping you stay calm and focused under pressure. We also work on stage presence, so you feel comfortable and connected when performing. Memorization techniques are introduced to improve confidence and security.
I guide you through recital and competition preparation with clear structure and support. Learners across styles are helped to overcome nerves and perform with clarity. Let’s make your performance confident and unforgettable.
