About Danica
I am a guitar tutor with 10 years of experience and a Bachelor of Music in Composition with a guitar emphasis. I perform and compose regularly, bringing real-world artistry into my lessons. I view music as a creative, lifelong skill that can inspire at any level.
I specialize in acoustic fingerstyle and classical guitar, teaching both beginners and advanced players. My lessons focus on technique, musicality, and the joy of intricate arrangements. Students learn to explore phrasing, dynamics, and expressive detail.
I emphasize personal expression and creativity, helping students find their unique voice on the guitar. Theory and technique are blended naturally into every session. I encourage curiosity, patience, and consistent practice.
Seeing students grow in confidence and skill is incredibly rewarding. My goal is to foster both technical mastery and artistic passion. Playing guitar becomes not just a skill, but a form of self-expression and joy.

I guide students in exploring the guitar across multiple genres. Lessons are interactive and flexible, focusing on skill, creativity, and expression. Students learn how different musical styles shape playing technique.
We cover funk, metal, jazz, country, and more. Techniques are adapted to fit each style, from rhythm to phrasing. Students develop versatility while keeping their personal voice.
Improvisation and experimentation are central to my teaching. Students learn to combine genres, create original arrangements, and push boundaries. Lessons are hands-on and practical.
I support teenage learners discovering their identity and recording artists expanding their sound. Feedback is tailored and consistent.
By the end, students gain technical skill, confidence, and musical versatility. Guitar playing becomes a tool for expression and limitless creativity.
