About Arka
Having studied Biochemistry during bachelor's and master's levels followed by over 10 years of research in protein biochemistry, I am an expert in the subject. I enjoy teaching and interacting with curious, motivated young minds. I have trained undergraduate and post-graduate students in research for several years and for over a year I am formally teaching at the Bio-chemical Engineering department in UCL. While correcting assignment reports of UG and PG students I have often found manuscripts lacking in quality and representation. As a tutor, I want to emphasise the importance of preparing great assignment reports and guide students into preparing them.

I did PhD in Biochemistry followed by post-doctoral research with the prestigious Marie Curie Individual Fellowship at UCL. Since qualifying AFHEA (UK) in 2021, I am teaching different modules of the Biochemistry UG curriculum including practical classes at UCL, evaluating assignment reports of both UG and MRes students. With Superprof, I am interested in helping students with their UG/PG Biochemistry/Molecular Biology assignments because while correcting manuscripts I find that some students do not understand the task well and many fail to prepare comprehensive representations of their thesis. I want to guide students while preparing their reports for excellent representations that would help them achieve great scores.

I have worked with Arka as teaching assistants in one of the biochemical engineering modules for undergraduate. I see him as an intelligent and hardworker tutor. He’s experienced and passionate about he does. He cares about his students and try to do his best to deliver the knowledge.
Arka is a very good teacher who helped me in my biochemistry practical sessions. With his fun and effective ways of teaching, I not only enjoyed biochemisty more but was more confident in my biochemistry module.
