About Dr Neelakash
I am currently a research associate in the Department of Aeronautics at Imperial College London. Previously I obtained my PhD from the same Department. My PhD was funded by the prestigious President's PhD scholarship (full funding). Before that, I obtained my bachelor's and master's degree from Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Kharagpur. Apart from my PhD research, teaching is something I have always enjoyed and I love to interact with students. I always try to connect the things I am teaching to the things we observe in nature or in our everyday lives. This helps the students to not only learn the topics but also to know why it is important to learn them and where they can apply the knowledge. As a tutor I can assure that my classes will be resourceful as well as entertaining. I have been a graduate teaching assistant at Imperial College London where I supervised labs for 1st year and 3rd year undergraduate students. Apart from that, I have been a GCSE maths tutor in a tutoring centre in London for nearly 1.5 years and privately tutored multiple GCSE and A level students.
