About Mia Ly
I attended a highly selective sixth form in London, where I studied AQA Philosophy (A*), AQA Biology (A), Edexcel Chemistry (A), EPQ (A*) and AQA Level 3 Applied Mathematics (A). I am also currently studying Medicine at the University of Edinburgh. In the 2022 cycle, I recieved 2 offers for medical school and placed in the 9th decile for UCAT.

Having sat my exams affected by various lockdowns, I have explored a range of different revision methods to develop deeper understanding and active recall. I am able to produce personalised revision timetables for each lesson, dependent on what point in the course my students are currently at as well as the topics which they are less confident in. Lessons are aimed towards A-Level and GCSE science students (biology and chemistry at A-Level), and typically last an hour - however, longer lessons are available upon request and are particularly useful during exam season. I am also able to offer assistance for medical school applications - personal statements, interviews and entrance exams.

Perfect! Mia Ly was excellent with my son. She was very organised and proactive with making sure he was on track with his revision. She was very positive and great at motivating him.
