About Aurtur
I am a dedicated violin tutor with 13 years of teaching experience, working with high school students, college learners, and adults, and I have successfully taught around 300 students from different backgrounds and skill levels. My teaching philosophy is based on patience, consistency, and understanding each student’s learning pace, as I believe that every learner can succeed with the right support.
I focus on building strong fundamentals such as posture, bow control, finger placement, and tone quality, ensuring that students develop a solid base. I explain each concept in a simple and clear way so that students can easily follow and practise. Along with technical training, I include exercises, scales, and songs that make lessons engaging and enjoyable.
One of my key achievements is helping students gain confidence in their playing and perform comfortably in front of others. I also guide students in building regular practice habits that lead to steady improvement. My goal is to create a positive and encouraging environment where students feel motivated to learn and grow.

I teach violin using a student-centred methodology that prioritises communication, adaptability, and hands-on learning. I assess each student’s strengths, learning style, and goals, and tailor lessons to maximise understanding and progress. I cover essential techniques like posture, bowing, fingering, intonation, tone production, and phrasing while encouraging creativity and expressive playing.
Real-life examples such as performing familiar songs, practising with recordings, and preparing for recitals make lessons practical and engaging. Alongside violin, I include music theory, rhythm exercises, ear training, sight-reading, and basic keyboard skills to provide a well-rounded musical education. My goal is to create a structured, enjoyable, and inspiring environment where students feel confident and motivated.
