  • 1) When and why did you develop an interest in your chosen field?

After becoming an Attorney and spending seven years working in a financial institution, I reached a crossroads in 2017. While I was successful on paper, I felt a growing disconnect between the long hours at a desk and the vibrant, moving body I had loved as a child. That year I made a decisive shift: I left the courtroom and the boardroom to return to the place that always energized me—movement.

    What sparked the change?

A personal answer to my Passion: Since high school, I’ve been drawn to health, wellness, and the joy of movement. I spent my pre-teen and teen years immersed in a pre‑professional ballet program while also devoting countless hours to dance, sports, and general fitness. Although I ultimately earned a law degree, the pull of the body never faded. In 2017 I finally answered that call: I returned to my passion, earned my Personal‑Trainer certification and Women’s Fitness Specialization, and recommitted to refining my ballet technique.
Health-check: I noticed how many people are battling chronic conditions and suffering from injuries that could have been mitigated with regular, purposeful exercise. Witnessing how a strong circulatory system can fend off disease convinced me that fitness isn’t a luxury; it’s preventive medicine.
The power of dance: Ballet taught me discipline, breath control, and the profound connection between mind and muscle. I realized that the same principles that make a dancer glide can help anyone reclaim confidence, optimal brain function and vitality.
A passion to serve women specifically: Women’s bodies have unique biological, anatomical and hormonal rhythms. I wanted to create programs that honour bone density and menstrual cycles—not generic “one‑size‑fits‑all” plans.
How that vision became my mission

I combined my legal‑and‑business background (which gave me strategic planning, client communication, and a knack for structuring programs) with formal certifications in Personal Training, Women’s Fitness and Progressive Ballet Technique. Today I design:

Science‑backed workouts that target cardiovascular health, mobility, balance, flexibility and strength, reducing the risk of hypertension, diabetes, and osteoporosis.
Progressive Ballet Technique - Ballet‑infused exercises that improve posture, core activation, and graceful functional strength—especially valuable for women navigating peri-menopause, or post-menopause.
Sustainable lifestyle frameworks that weave daily activity, mindful nutrition, and mental well‑being into a seamless routine, rather than a fleeting “workout” checklist.
In short, the pivot in 2017 wasn’t just a career change; it was a commitment to empower women to harness the innate power of their bodies, transform health challenges into strengths, and live a lifelong, joyful relationship with movement.
  • 2) What makes you passionate about your subject?

I’m fascinated by how the human body works. We indeed have been iricately woven together, beautifully and intentionally designed. Every muscle, joint, tendon, tissue and ligament is precisely connected to enable freedom of movement; uncovering that coordination is rewarding.

When a client regains range of motion or a dancer feels a clearer line in a plié, I see the tangible results of proper training and technique. Helping people discover, rehab and expand their physical potential gives me a sense of purpose fulfilled.

Wether a dancer’s plan is to grow in ballet technique or a personal trainer client’s goal is to recover from an injury, my enthusiasm comes from combining that curiosity about anatomy with the satisfaction of guiding women toward stronger, more functional, and more confident bodies.

    3) What do you like about tutoring? What makes you a "Superprof"?
What I love about personal training, and teaching ballet

From a lineage of educators, I’ve learned that sharing knowledge isn’t just a job—it’s a joy and privilege. Seeing a student’s eyes light up when a concept clicks, a client’s posture straighten after a breakthrough, or a dancer finally feels the music in her bones reminds me why I chose this path. It’s a genuine joy to help people discover strengths they didn’t even know they had and to watch them turn those strengths into real‑life results.

How it translates to Personal Training & Ballet Lessons
Active listening - I start every session by asking how the client or dancer is feeling that day, then adjust their program to possible changes.
Relationship‑focused - I view my clients as partners, not just “customers.” By building trust, I create a safe space where they become ready to make progress.
Empathy & encouragement - I celebrate both small and big wins and gently guide them through setbacks, keeping motivation high even on tough days.
Technical expertise - My knowledge of anatomy, biomechanics, and classical ballet technique allow me to correct form efficiently, programme progressions while preventing injury.
Progress‑driven planning - I break long‑term aspirations into achievable milestones, track measurable improvements, and adjust the plan as they progress.
Friendship‑level support - Beyond the workout or studio, I make sure to maintain a friendship- level connection by touching base with meaningful encouraging messages or answering questions.

In short, I combine the heart of a mentor with the discipline of a coach. I listen, I connect, and I design purposeful, personalized pathways that empower each student, client, or dancer to reach the goals they hold in their heart.

  • 4) Do you have any role models; a teacher that inspired you? Please explain.

Growing up taking Ballet classes, I didn’t have a single ballet instructor who embodied the supportive, nurturing approach I hoped for—many of the teachers I encountered were overly rigid, which taught me early on how not to treat a student. Instead, my inspiration came from two very different sources that shaped the way I coach and teach today.

    1. Polina Semionova – The Epitome of Ballet Elegance
Watching Semionova’s flawless lines, elegant and graceful performance in Swan Lake reminded me that true artistry is built on countless hours of disciplined, relentless focus on technique, and patient practice. to reach the top, she also learned to listen to her own body, incorporate cross‑training, recovery strategies, and mental‑focus techniques (visualization, breath work) to excel under pressure.

    2. Bruce Lee – The Ultimate “Movement Scientist”
Why he matters to me: Lee proved that a compact frame can generate extraordinary power, speed, and precision when technique and commitment are honed relentlessly. Bruce Lee’s daily routine was inspirational, he designed it to maximize not only his physical performance but his mental well-being. His daily training routine, would incorporate a combination of weightlifting, martial arts, exercises to build strength, endurance and flexibility. I believe the most powerful combination to his training was to start his day with meditation and visualization exercises. He would focus his mind on his goals and visualize himself achieving them!

How Their Influence Shapes My Teaching
Patience & Positivity: Because I know how discouraging a cold, impersonal studio can feel, I deliberately create a warm, uplifting atmosphere.
Individualized Programming: Like Lee’s “form follows function,” I design workouts that respect each women’s anatomy, goals, and lifestyle. I build adaptable routines that fit busy home or work lives.
Technical Precision: Inspired by Semionova’s and Lee’s exacting standards, I break down both exercises and ballet movements to their core components, ensuring solid foundations before adding more complex exercises, movements and sequences.
Physical strain and injury risk – emphasizing smart warm‑ups, recovery, and body awareness skills.
Motor Learning – In the studio I emphasize repetition (critical for motor learning and neuromuscular connection), gradual and incremental progress, highlighting the value of flexibility, both mentally and physically.
Resilience amid external pressures – showing that mindset work (goal setting, visualization) is as crucial as technique. Every client, regardless of size or experience, can achieve their goals through encompassing and disciplined fundamentals, mindful breathing, and continuous refinement.
My mother’s belief in my natural athleticism reinforced these lessons, and I now pay that confidence forward—providing every student and client the respectful, empowering experience they deserve.
  • 5) What are your keys to success as a personal trainer and ballet teacher ?

Your goals are my priority – I sit down with you, listen to what you really want (whether it’s a tighter core, a cleaner arabesque, or just more energy), and keep that vision front‑and‑center every time we train.
A plan that fits you – Using simple data from our Initial Physical Assessment (Heart rate numbers, posture checks, movement assessment) If you are a Ballet Student, we would asses your ballet‑technique to understand where our Baseline for lesson planning. In both programmes, I build a step‑by‑step program that slides into your schedule and evolves as you get stronger.
Mind‑body balance – As a Certified HeartMath Coach, I start sessions with a quick breath‑work or visualization, then move into functional strength and ballet exercises. The result? physical gains and mental clarity that make staying active feel natural.
Real‑time feedback & encouragement – I give you clear, friendly feedback during each workout, celebrate the wins, and tweak the plan so you always know you’re moving forward.
Visible, lasting results – My clients consistently see lean‑muscle growth, better posture, more mobility, less stress, deeper sleep, stronger bones, and fewer aches—plus improved coordination and balance.
At the heart of it all, I’m passionate about helping you discover what your body can do and making every movement feel enjoyable, purposeful, and uniquely yours.
