About Lynn
I am a Registered Nurse with nearly 10 years of experience and currently work full-time at The Ottawa Hospital as a Mental Health Nurse. I am passionate about teaching and supporting students in their nursing journey through interactive and practical online learning.
I previously worked as a tutor and educator in India, teaching undergraduate nursing students in both classroom and clinical settings. My teaching style focuses on simplifying difficult concepts, improving critical thinking, and helping students gain confidence in exams and clinical practice.
As someone who successfully passed the NCLEX and transitioned into the Canadian healthcare system, I also enjoy mentoring internationally educated nurses and sharing practical guidance for nursing success in Canada.

My teaching approach is student-centered, practical, and easy to understand. I focus on simplifying complex nursing concepts using real-life clinical examples from my professional experience as a Mental Health Nurse at The Ottawa Hospital. I believe in building confidence, critical thinking, and strong fundamentals rather than just memorization.
A typical lesson includes concept explanation, case-based discussion, NCLEX-style questions, and quick revision strategies to help students apply knowledge effectively in exams and clinical practice.
What sets me apart is my combination of nearly 10 years of nursing experience, teaching background in India for undergraduate nursing students, and firsthand experience successfully passing the NCLEX and working in the Canadian healthcare system.
