About Rob
I am a Registered Nurse and former high school Biology teacher. In addition to classroom education I have over 10 years of experience tutoring individuals at the secondary and post-secondary levels. Areas of focus include biology, anatomy/physiology, pathophysiology and many other courses related to the health sciences.

My approach to tutoring is three-fold. "Chunking" is the popular strategy of beginning at fundamental levels, introducing content bit by bit until an element of the concept is understood. "Scaffolding" is the gradual building of the concept until comprehension is attained. "Web-weaving" is my own non-linear approach that links different concepts together as understanding is gained as to how individual concepts will impact one another.

Details
Due to COVID, all lessons will be provided online. During the first lesson, students will share course/career goals and tutoring expectations. A brief academic assessment will be provided and strategies discussed. Beyond the first free lesson, tutoring will be $30 per hour payable by e-transfer.
