About Eric

Hi, I'm Eric Lee, a member of the Recording Academy, singer-songwriter, producer, engineer and your new vocal coach. Over the past 20 years, I’ve performed on and produced many songs for myself and a variety of singers, across all genres that have been featured on many of Spotify's top editorial playlists, nationwide radio play, movie trailers, TV shows, the Super Bowl, Winter Olympics, and many more. I coach each singer to give their best performances on recordings, and prepare for live shows and tours, expanding their capabilities, helping everyone reach their full potential.

About the lesson

During every session, we'll of course practice scales and techniques, but best of all, I find that students learn the most by singing their favorite song. Together, we'll determine best ways to accommodate your voice.

I offer to record my students on a professional studio microphone.

As a performing artist myself, I offer useful and practical insights that you’ll use regularly. I pride myself in accommodating a variety of singers across all genres, fostering a supportive, creative and nurturing environment.

It’s a joy for me to help singers reach their goals and expand their range, stamina, attention to deal, and capabilities.

I work with singers at all levels from beginners to advanced.

Perfect! Eric is a fantastic coach - I couldn’t recommend him highly enough! I have been working with him for some weeks now and seen great improvements already. He has very strong technical knowledge and knows how to articulate that to beginners in a way that is understandable and fun.
I look forward to returning each week to learn more. Eric is a great music coach- I highly recommend!! 10/10.

Perfect! Just finished my first session with Eric, and it was exceptional. He provided immediate, personalized feedback, took the time to understand my goals as an artist, and delivered insights I could apply right away. His level of excellence, efficiency, and genuine care for his students is rare. Highly recommend working with him if you're serious about growing as a vocalist.

Aaron was an absolute pleasure to work with. He's a naturally gifted singer and a vibrant, friendly person to have in the studio. He quickly adapted with an open mind to quite a few of the techniques we covered during our first session and I was genuinely impressed. I'm really looking forward to having him back soon!

Perfect! After having a first intro lesson with Eric, I’m super excited for my journey to be the best singer and performer. So calm and patient, can’t wait to schedule him for a lesson. He taught me to have confidence especially as a performer. I struggle with confidence in the past, but after meeting him and getting to know his process of teaching, I feel much better and I believe that I can achieve anything. Not just singing, but life as well.

Perfect! Just had a phenomenal first lesson with Eric. As a complete beginner, I came in very nervous. He put me right at ease and immediately identified good starting points for me and my voice. As we went, we really helped build my confidence. I left excited for next steps, with Eric really keeping things framed around the joy of singing (and making me less afraid of the mistakes I'll make as I practice). He also gave me practical next steps to do on my own between sessions, which feel very tailored to my current level and my voice. Can't wait to continue!

Eric has helped me unlock parts of my voice that I did not know were there. This is coming from someone who has been singing and performing professionally since the age of 10. I can’t believe how lucky I am to have gotten to know this guy!! He also has a vast understanding of how vocals show up on a recording as well as a seemingly infinite amount of knowledge about performance and how to emote. If you’re looking for someone to help you learn how to harness the power of your voice, look no further!

Where do I begin? Working with is an absolute dream. He helped me unlock the depth of my vocal range within. I am a recording artist and Eric has helped me immensely! Through our sessions he has helped me gain the confidence to experiment and explore the many colors and textures in voice. We have been working together for 10 years and I credit Eric as big part of my journey as a vocalist. Eric creates a safe environment learning and growth and he has an amazing bed side manner that uplifts singers and helps them find their true voice. He has an amazing way of marrying technique and style in way that helps you sound like the best version of YOU! I recommend Eric 10/10!

All my life I’ve been more of a “harmonizer” than a lead singer. I’ve always felt shy singing alone. Ever since I started working with Eric he not only showed me proper techniques but increased my confidence along the way. Highly recommend Eric and he’s super fun to work with!
