About Demi
I have always been academic however I only succeeded in my exams due to the hours of work I put in and learning to love my subjects. It’s not until I related my subjects to the real world that everything made sense. I currently mentor young women who want to enter financial services, I help with their studies, career aspirations etc. I want to tutor as seeing my mentees achieve their goals is satisfying and self-fulfilling. I want to share my success with others and see them learn from my experience.

After going through both GCSEs and A Levels, I have familiarised myself with these exams. My approach to tutoring is really understanding the mark schemes and what answers are wanted by examiners, this is my basis for understanding how to answer the questions. For example, many students struggle with history coursework, when in reality the fundamentals of succeeding in this are all in the mark scheme, it really is a numbers game. I achieved 39/40 in my coursework. Economics has a different approach, it is fundamental that the basics are understood before I bring in current affairs to answers.
