About Charlie
I am an incredibly patient, friendly, and outgoing person who has had a strong passion for playing the drums since I was 12 years old. I aim to create positive experiences with students to keep them engaged and excited about learning new things on the drums. Having recently completed a BA Hons Degree in Professional Musicianship in Drums at the British Institute of Modern Music in Brighton (where I achieved a 2:1), I have gained a substantial amount of knowledge and experience in playing the drums - which I love to share with my future drum students to help their advancement on the instrument.

I love to keep my students engaged in my lessons and to do this I make sure that the lesson is focused on the individual student and is centred around their drumming goals and aspirations. I like to use the scaffolding teaching method with my younger students and create 'building blocks' for them to keep progressing on the drums.
