About Matt
I am a recent Magna Cum Laude Graduate from Arizona State University with a Bachelor of Science in Computer Information Systems and a Certificate in Applied Cybersecurity. I am starting my first job in the cybersecurity field with Deloitte in the beginning of August, and wish to spread some of my knowledge in the meantime! I love teaching coding, although I have never done it for money before. I am great with kids, and get along with adults too! Im willing to make a custom curriculum to help reach any students goals and to help them succeed. When I'm not coding, I love to work on my cars, play video games, snowboard, or go fishing.

I am very well versed in Java, Python, HTML, CSS, Javascript, SQL Node.js and have worked with a few other languages as well. I am filling in the gap between graduation and my start date at my new job in August. I have class materials that I can reuse and adapt to the specific teaching scenario, but my teaching style would be mostly subject by subject, with follow along examples. I would give students a walkthrough on some basic examples while the student follows along, and then give them a few increasingly challenging examples that will let them apply the subject themselves, with my guidance if needed of course. High school to College is preferred, but I will teach anyone that is wanting to learn how to code!
