About Neve
I’m attending university starting in September and between now and then would like to work on helping those who found themselves struggling reach a better academic standing. Often people believe it is too late to turn around their academics which is not true. I, myself believed that notion until I was able to boost my own subjects significantly (almost 3+ grades in every subject) at GCSE. It is with proper learning and revision techniques that this is possible and I hope to share the ones I used with others to offer them the same success.

My priority lies in helping GCSE Maths, Chemistry, Physics, Biology, French and Drama pupils achieve top grades (each subject I obtained between 8 and 9). The approach varies between subjects but is comprised of learning techniques that are based on learning techniques such as; spaced repetition and active recall. A common issue with tutoring is understanding a concept in a session but losing it when confronted independently. To combat it, I break down the mentioned techniques in a way that makes it easy to use them independently, away from sessions. I also have a decent amount of recent experience with people undertaking A-level Drama and Psychology as I myself recently sat both and spent several hours tutoring people in my school in the year below ahead of their mocks in which the majority obtained an A after 2 months from average C.
