About Zach
I am a recent high school graduate having reached the top calculus related class at my school (Post-AP Calculus) and scoring well on all of the Calc standardized tests. In addition, I can help with any standardized test prep (SAT or ACT) in the math sections having achieved a nearly perfect score on the math section. I have also recently been accepted at Williams College in Massachusetts. I have helped tutor kids in my school system for the past 3 years allowing me to gain crucial insight into what it takes to help kids succeed. I hope to have the chance to help students either raise their grade in a difficult math class or prepare for the challenging math sections on the infamous standardized tests (SAT and ACT).

To help any student succeed in math, I believe it is crucial to understand each part of the solution. Often times, it is easy for a student to not fully learn a concept early on in their math careers. This causes problems down the road to seem harder than they actually are. Therefore, I approach my teaching style by starting at the basics and working from the ground up. In addition, I understand how frustrating math can be, so I believe in creating a fun learning environment for all ages in order for any student to succeed and reach a new understanding of the subject.
