About Rachel
I totally understand the fear and struggle to start a paper or academic writing project, especially when you feel insecure about your writing abilities. I strive to help my students build confidence and skill in communicating their ideas. I was recommended to the tutoring center as a peer tutor for the Senior Fine Arts thesis writing class, so I am very comfortable with long form academic writing and research papers, and would love to help with your next assignment!

I tend to conduct lessons on a case by case basis, whether it be homework help, researching for a paper, editing, outlining in preparation for writing, or brainstorming prompts.
We will usually start with looking at the assignment in question or some past writing to gauge where there is room for improvement and what is working so far.
I am happy to give lessons in writing for any 9-12 grade students and undergraduate students.
