About Samuel
My name is Sam, and I am a recent Financial Mathematics graduate preparing to begin an MSc in FinTech. My degree has given me a strong foundation in mathematics, statistics, finance and problem-solving. I take a professional, patient and supportive approach to tutoring, with the aim of helping students feel more confident and capable. Having recently completed my own studies, I understand the challenges of revision, exams and difficult topics, and I enjoy making complex ideas easier to understand.

I aim to make my lessons clear, supportive and student-focused. My approach is to break topics down step by step, explain the reasoning behind each method, and then practise questions until the student feels more confident. Lessons are usually one hour long and can focus on revision, exam technique, homework support, or understanding difficult topics. I have recently completed a BSc in Financial Mathematics and will be starting an MSc in FinTech, giving me a strong background in maths, statistics and finance, as well as a recent student’s perspective. My lessons are suitable for GCSE and A-Level students.
