I have studied French from the age of 7, Spanish from the age of 13.
In 2017/18 I spent an academic year teaching in a Spanish/Galician language school in Spain.
Over the past two summers I have tutored adolescents as an au pair in France

My teaching method varies depending on the age of the student I am teaching. For those under 10 I have found that their learning is best advanced in a casual setting with games and a majority focus in speaking. With older students, conversation is more possible and I find that doing written/grammar exercises are useful if I can then explain the areas they haven't understood
