About Josie
I graduated a Bachelor of Advanced Science with Distinction, majoring in biochemistry and zoology, as a mature aged student, proof that it's never too late to make a change. Since then, I moved to rural Queensland and haven't the opportunity to use my degree. I love it up here, but it's hard to get used to not having access to take-away food or taxis! I'd love to use my degree to help the next generation achieve their learning goals, whatever they may be. It's wonderful watching a student bloom as they gain confidence in themselves and their abilities.

I have many years' experience tutoring maths and science and have tutored many other school subjects at times up to and including university level. My lessons are tailored to the student's interests and personality and are focussed on positive feedback and celebrating small victories. I am passionate and empathetic and hope that my love of learning rubs off on those I teach.
