Started playing the guitar at the age of 10 and deeply inspired by many guitar virtuosos and kept learning music from local well-known musicians since 2001. Over 15years teaching experience.
Graduated honourably with "The Best Guitarist Of The Year" Award in The Institute Of Contemporary Music Performance in 2016.

Right… for whoever wants to start playing or already started but have no clue what was going on, or seems to have some clues but unsure about it, I understand your confusion or frustration because I had been through too!!
I teach students aged from youths to elderly (but SORRY - REALLY CANNOT GET ALONG WITH KIDS) I do not just teach you to hold a chord and strum. I WANT TO:
- explain to you what to do, how to do, demonstrate why we are doing things “this way” but not “that way”
- how to improve faster, how to make practice more meaningful and no wasting time on repeating the wrong posture which builds bad muscle memories
- how to enjoy playing and be open minded to learn new music.
!! With a big picture and you will know how fun playing the guitar can be! And ROCK ON the rest of your life.
Here are the subjects I will go through step by step systematically:
- Music Harmony & Theory
(arpeggios, scales, modes, rhythmic & harmonic construction etc)
- Fretboard Skills & Guitar Techniques
(muting, picking, hammer-on/pull off, bending, vibrato, legato, sweep picking etc)
- Styles Study : Pop, Rock, Blues, Hard Rock, Metal, Funky, Fusion, Jazz etc
- Improvisation / Aural & Transcribing
- Notation / Sight Reading
- Essential communication skills & Industry Performance Standards
If there are specific songs or techniques you would like to learn, requests are always welcome. I will introduce to you in details on our trial lesson, which usually takes 1-1.5hours.
