About Patrick
Bonjour! Je m'appelle Patrick, and I graduated in 2020 from Melbourne Grammar. I currently study a Bachelor of Commerce at the University of Melbourne, with a Chancellor’s Scholarship.
Outside the classroom, I’m a keen debater among other things - at school, I won the DAV’s Asian Studies, British Parliamentary, and Schools competitions.
Having completed VCE with a 99.90, I find that succeeding in it is a strategic endeavour as much as an academic one. Knowing how to tackle your subject, how to hone your skills and focus on areas of weakness going into SACs and exams is just as valuable as being bright, a good writer, or a good maths problem-solver. At the end of the day, your Study Scores and ATAR come down to what you can put down on paper over the course of perhaps 8 or 10 hours in total across the year.

For French I use simple, learnable systems which allow you to inject complex grammar into your writing, leap seamlessly between sections of your oral and be highly rigorous and thorough in taking information from comprehension tasks. Thoroughness and rigour are what matter for VCE French, and I will take yours to the next level.

In general, I am keen to find an arrangement that works for you. I usually do two in person lessons to get to know you, then online, but am happy to work things out with you personally.
