About Christian
I have been writing, rapping and recording since 2005. Both Hip hop & Grime. I have had my music played on Radio 1, Radio 6, 1xtra, SBTV, MTV & more. I am still an active rapper to this day and have frequent releases (YouTube - Christian King or Ckingpeace).
I have been working with young people at a Music college (Access creative), 1:1 and in groups with subjects such as Music performance, songwriting, music production and more for 4 years, this has helped me to develop my teaching skills.
I studied a degree in Music Production and achieved a 2:1 (Bachelor of arts) - this involved Songwriting, music production, sound design and personal development.
I am a patient and calm person, good listener and I like to see others flourish and reach their potential.

I have worked with a variety of Rap students at different levels. Some just starting out and wanting to find a way to express their emotions into rhyme, some might be more advanced and rapping for a few years but just want to have their lyrics refined or want a trained ear to give advice about their work. The lessons are open to all levels.
I can teach about timing, rhyme structure (multisyllabic rhyming), song structure, go over your lyrics and help tighten them up. Help you to build confidence in yourself to release and perform your music and hopefully and most importantly to enjoy the process of expressing yourself!
I offer a free consultation (15 minutes) initially to find out where you are at currently and in which ways you would like to improve to see how you can move forward and from there we can schedule in a class.

Perfect! Christian is charismatic in his approach, with boundless abilities and excellent tutorial skills. His guidance allows you to grow creatively and independently. In just two sessions, he helped me write 16 bars of an original rap for my song. Christian is also incredibly stimulating and versatile, providing guided weekly work to keep you progressing.
