About Rachel
I am a graduate of the Royal Academy of Music and the RNCM, where I studied clarinet. I have a masters and 1st Class honours degree in clarinet performance, grade 8 distinction on saxophone and recorder, and grade 6 distinction and merit in flute and piano respectively. I have been a peripatetic music teacher since graduating, mostly in central London schools and near my home in Surrey. Since the birth of my two children I am looking to resume a little teaching around my caring responsibilities and am available both online or face to face depending on location.

I teach clarinet, saxophone and recorder, as well as ABRSM grade 5 music theory, where my students have a 100% pass rate - 75% at merit or distinction. I tailor lessons to suit individuals and can provide either an exam-based approach or a more relaxed structure to learning.
