About Aimen
Are you tongue-tied while introducing yourself? Do you feel embarrassed in expressing your thoughts or terrified to speak in front of others? You can now raise your self-confidence and get ready to have a good command of English with a wide range of vocabulary by joining my classes.
To introduce myself, I’m Aimen, a current grad student in the field of Biotechnology at McGill University. As part of my curriculum, I have several global internships giving me proficient exposure to English communication. I have been an English tutor for Internationals studying, working, or living in Madison at Madison International Partners (MIP), USA, and also been held as a volunteer for weekend reading sessions, assisted in writing exams as a scribe, and worked on a project of creating a digital audio library for the visually challenged in Lit the Light (a non-profit organization) and scored band 8 in IELTS in the very first attempt. In addition, I have worked in a US-based healthcare organization as an analyst in the Customer Relationship Management domain which is an added bonus to aid you in business- formal English.
My Gallup Strengthsfinder themes are Restorative, Context, Arranger, Individualization, and Intellection.
I have a life outside of my academics, freelancing too! You'll find me in Journal Clubs, Talks, Course, Lectures, discussions, etc. Apart from these, I love binge watching (current favorite: Naruto). I vent by writing, I learn languages (French, Japanese) and all the other usual things.
