About Imani
I am a queer woman, an educator and a healer. I have studied education formally and have teaching experience with students 3 years old all the way to college level and beyond. I believe strongly in curiosity based, self- directed learning. I push my students to be in charge of their own learning, to set goals and to be reflective in their practice. I am an activist and use tarot cards as part of the revolution.

Tarot is a healing, powerful medicine that allows us to reflect and encourages us to transform. It pushes us to ask ourselves important questions about love, victory, truth, pain and the world around us. In this online class, you will connect with your intuition, open up a space for reflection and master the art of reading tarot. We will move away from static and outdated understandings of gender, of love, of community. We will learn radical ways of seeing and how to use the cards to create a new world. I am a teacher by trade and by nature; I will create a space for learning that is joyful, motivating and inspiring. You will find your curiosity, your passion and yourself through this course.
In this course you will learn how to conduct intuitive readings confidently, for yourself and for other people. You will learn to set the stage, shuffle the cards, use and create tarot spreads and interpret the cards that fall both upright and reversed. You will learn to integrate tarot’s profound symbols with your own intuition. We will weave in topics like crystal work, numerology, color theory and more into the lessons along with the more concrete sills. Join our community of tarot readers that you can learn and grow with.
For this class you will want to have your own tarot decks -- I recommend getting a basic one like the Rider-Waite deck.
