About Sahar

Assalamu Alaikum, I'm Sahar from Egypt. I'm a native Arabic speaker and a certified female Quran teacher with Ijazah in Tajweed.

I have more than 4 years of experience teaching non-Arab sisters and children from the UK, USA and Europe online. I studied at Al-Azhar and learned Nour Al Bayan method to help beginners read Quran correctly from the first lesson.

I am a mother too, so I understand how to deal with kids with patience and kindness. My goal is to make you and your children love Quran and feel confident while reciting.

I teach only women and children.

About the lesson

My lessons are designed especially for kids and sisters who want to learn Quran and Arabic in an easy, loving way.

We will focus on:
- Correct Tajweed and pronunciation (Makharij)
- Nour Al Bayan / Nourania Qaida for beginners
- Quran memorisation with revision plan
- Basic Arabic reading and Duas

I use Zoom with screen sharing, games, and colourful slides so kids stay focused and happy. I am very patient and repeat until you are confident. Lessons are 30 or 60 minutes according to your choice, and I am available on UK time - evenings and weekends.

Suitable for complete beginners to advanced levels.

As Ms. Sahar's student for the past 8 months, I was able to memorize 10 surahs in a short amount of time as well as the rules of tajweed. Her personality was one that stood out to me as I have had many Quran teachers throughout my life. Her presence is extremely comforting, and I am not afraid to make mistakes and ask questions around her. She treats me with utmost friendliness and respect and has made me more confident in my recitation. Her teaching method is very efficient as she spends half the time working on my recitation and reading, and the second half on rules and fun stories about the prophets, facts about Islam, and historic events as well. I enjoy every session and am looking forward to her being my teacher in the future as well!
