About Lesley
I have worked with children and young people for 20 years and worked as a qualified teacher for 13 years. As a primary teacher, I have worked with children with varying learning styles and needs and I am adept at adjusting my approach to suit the needs of my learners.For the past 3 years, I have been teaching in private education internationally and with the pandemic, I had to curate and deliver personalised programmes of learning for children with learning diversities. I enjoyed the challenge of making sure my lessons were engaging and fun so that my students looked forward to our next session.
As a creative, I sometimes incorporate dramatic and musical elements into my teaching style however, I am careful only to do so when appropriate. I love teaching and learning and anything I can do to ensure my students see themselves as very capable learners, I will do.

Every lesson is personalised to the individual. We cover the curriculum content by first assessing current knowledge base. Any arising misconceptions are addressed and new concepts consolidated through fun rehearsal methods.
