About Natasha
Hello and welcome! My name is Teacher Natasha, and I am a qualified, dedicated teacher with over 10 years of teaching experience. I am TEFL-certified (120 hours) and have a strong background in teaching both English and Afrikaans, as well as supporting learners across a variety of subjects.
I am passionate about helping students grow in confidence and reach their full potential. My teaching style is patient, supportive, and engaging, and I always aim to create a positive and encouraging learning environment where students feel comfortable to participate, ask questions, and make mistakes as part of the learning process.
I pride myself on being well-prepared, professional, and adaptable. I understand that every student learns differently, and I tailor my lessons to suit each learner’s needs, goals, and pace. My approach to private tutoring is learner-centered, supportive, and engaging. I believe that every student learns differently, so I adapt my teaching style to suit each individual’s needs, pace, and goals. With over 10 years of teaching experience and a 120-hour TEFL certification, I combine structured learning with creativity to make lessons both effective and enjoyable.
I am proficient in both English and Afrikaans, and I am able to teach and explain concepts in both languages where needed. This is especially helpful for students who may need additional support or clarification in their home language.
My methodology focuses on building confidence, improving communication skills, and creating a positive learning environment. I use a variety of techniques including interactive activities, real-life conversations, visual aids, and games (especially for younger learners) to keep lessons dynamic and engaging. I also incorporate reading, writing, listening, and speaking practice to ensure well-rounded language development.
