About LARAH

I am passionate about putting the pupil first and making every learning experience as effective and enjoyable as possible. I want all of my pupils to feel comfortable in expressing their challenges so that we can work together to overcome them. A problem shared is a problem halved! Sometimes you just need help to see the problem from a different angle for the penny to drop! I have been working in schools for over 8 years and have supported a range of pupils of different ages and needs. My experience means that I have lots of ideas and methods to offer!

About the lesson

Everyone has different learning needs and styles - my lessons will be tailored to suit the pupil. You will feel comfortable and supported throughout. Lessons between 30/60 minutes depending on the area/need. I aim to work around you and deliver lessons that enable you to feel confident and capable!

My 14 year old daughter is an A* student in all of her subjects.
A few months ago I noticed that her math grades were falling and that she had gotten 58% in a test and was clearly very upset by this.
We decided to get a tutor and Larah was recommended to us by a teacher Freind that I have.
My daughter was initially nervous about working with a tutor but Larah was an absolute delight. She had so much positive energy and put my daughter at ease straight away. After a few weeks something clicked with my daughter thanks to Larah and she had 90% in her next math test.
I could not recommend Larah enough to anyone. She seems so at ease with teenagers and they respond to her so well. I would not hesitate to use her again if we ever needed help, although I have a feeling that she’s going to be fully booked soon!!
