About Tania
I'm a qualified English teacher and former Head of English with over 12 years of teaching and tutoring experience. I specialise in phonics, writing, GCSE and A-Level English Language and Literature, literacy support, SEN, ESL/EFL, and Business English.
I hold QTS, a TEFL qualification, and a Business degree, and have taught both in schools and online.
My goal is to help students build confidence, make progress, and achieve their individual goals in a supportive learning environment.

Details
Outside of teaching, I enjoy travelling, art, interiors, health and fitness, and exploring different cultures. I've travelled extensively throughout Latin America and have recent experience learning Spanish myself, which has given me a greater understanding of the challenges and rewards of learning from scratch.
I believe the best learning happens when lessons connect to a student's interests, helping them build confidence, curiosity, and a genuine enjoyment of learning.
