Qualified teacher of French and Spanish, with 10 years private tutoring experience.

Mary tutored me from the age of 11 to 16, seeing me through two key examination periods (SATs and GCSEs), and I honestly gained so much from her teaching. She tailored each and every lesson to me, not just sticking to a standard lesson plan like in school. She allowed me to be honest and say what I needed help with, providing me with a personalized experience unlike one you are able to get in a standard learning environment. She would create a lesson specifically for any struggle I had. She came to every lesson with a positive attitude and helped me to emulate this in my study. She allowed me to grow in confidence and intellectual skill, and I saw real improvements in my grades and marks due to her support, giving me the motivation I needed to achieve highly.

Mary is an incredible tutor, she really fostered my love for Classical Civilisation and her support allowed me to thrive. She made sure to adapt her lessons to fit how I learn best. She was always willing to try new methods to support me. She made me feel safe and that my mistakes were ok. Mary is kind, supportive and welcoming. She is an amazing person.

Mary tutored my daughter and was hands down the best tutor we have ever had. Mary was patient, enthusiastic, kind, and really met my daughter where she was throughout our two years with her. Mary accommodated my daughter's needs at all points (and they are pretty complex). This really made such a difference to my daughter's success at GCSE. I cannot truly recommend Mary enough; she is just fantastic! Amazing at communicating with parents as well as children and young people. Five stars and more!

Mary is doing an amazing job preparing Annie for her French GCSE.
She goes above and beyond, always adding slides and helpful resources that encourage Annie to study.

We would highly recommend Mary as she is passionate about the job in hand and always responds fast to any questions Annie may have in between sessions.

Annie enjoys her lessons with Mary and everyone can see the great progress and increase in confidence that Annie is gaining from Mary’s tutoring.

Thank you so much Mary!
