About Gwen
I was born in China and studied English at school, continuing at University. I used my language skills to advance my career, working in many foreign-owned or multi-national companies. I had also worked as a translator, account/project manager in commercial sectors before I came to the UK for further education. I have been living and working in the UK for over 20 years and have a family with two children. I believe I have a very good understanding of the culture in both countries and high competence in using both languages. I am also very confident with my subject knowledge to teach from early age till A Level and beyond.

KS1 & 2 (Reception - Y6): based on Primary Chinese textbook and mixed with other textbooks e.g. Chinese for overseas Chinese Children, Wuku Chinese, etc. combined with my creative and highly interactive teaching resources KS3 (Y7-Y9): based on Jinbu or Happy Chinese textbooks with my own teaching resources KS4 (Y10-Y11): teach to pass the Chinese GCSE exams (AQA or Edexcel exam board) KS5 (Y12-13): teach to pass the Pearson Edexcel Chinese A Level exam (Edexcel exam board)
