About Emma
¡Hola! I'm Emma
I'm a native Spanish speaker from Spain and a qualified Early Childhood and Primary Education teacher. I hold two university degrees in Education, as well as additional specializations in Speech and Language Support and Special Education.
My teaching journey has taken me from Spain to the United States and now Australia. In the US, I worked in a primary school teaching Spanish to children while also teaching Spanish online to adults. I now live in Melbourne, where I teach Spanish face-to-face to adults from different countries, cultures and language backgrounds.
Working with such a wide range of students has taught me that everyone learns differently. That's why patience, encouragement and adapting to each individual are at the heart of my teaching.
I teach both children and adults, from complete beginners learning their very first Spanish words to students who already speak Spanish and want to improve their pronunciation, speaking and confidence.
One of my favorite parts of teaching is seeing a student go from feeling unsure about speaking Spanish to communicating more clearly and confidently.
My goal is to create a friendly and supportive environment where you feel comfortable speaking, asking questions, making mistakes and learning at your own pace.

Want to speak Spanish more clearly and confidently?
That's exactly what we'll work on together.
Pronunciation isn't about getting rid of your accent or trying to sound exactly like a native speaker. It's about communicating clearly, understanding spoken Spanish more easily and feeling confident when you speak.
In my lessons, we won't just repeat sounds or isolated words. We'll practise pronunciation through real Spanish, useful expressions and everyday conversations, so you can actually use what you learn outside the classroom.
Your lessons will be adapted to YOU. Depending on your level, goals and first language, we can work on the areas you find most difficult, including Spanish sounds, word stress, rhythm, intonation and natural speech.
Struggling with the Spanish R or RR? Confused by J, G, LL or Y? Not sure where to place the stress in a word? We can break these sounds and patterns down step by step and practise them in real words and conversations.
We can work through conversation, role-play, reading aloud, listening activities, songs, short videos, stories, games and real-life situations.
And because everyone learns differently, we can connect pronunciation practice with the things you genuinely enjoy. Love music? Let's work with songs. Love movies or TV series? We can use dialogue and clips. Planning a trip? Let's practise the words and conversations you'll actually need.

We'll identify the sounds and pronunciation patterns you find difficult and work on them step by step, helping you communicate more naturally and confidently.
