About Yvette
For the past 24 years I have worked in all areas of Health and Social Care. My employment roles have ranged from Care Assistant to Qualified Child Protection Social Worker. I have worked and studied to gain NVQ’s and a University Degree in Applied Social Work BA (Hons). In my time I have worked to support people aged from Pre-birth to 100. I have looked after children in care, babies, supported families to keep them together, worked on a busy trauma and orthopaedic ward along with taking care of older people in their own homes and nursing homes. I have experience of multi-agency working, writing care plans, attending emergency meetings and providing holistic practical care on an individual basis. I have done both the hands on personal care and the paperwork in the office.

My teaching method is try and have fun while you learn! I am very friendly and will do my best to put you at ease so you can get the most out of your tuition session. I will assertain exactly what it is you need help with and tailor my lessons to help. I am willing to offer one off sessions or help you module by module if you wish. I have experience of working with people whose learning styles may differ from the mainstream and I will be happy to try and tailor all teaching to your style.
