About Amy
I had tutoring in maths and physics when I was at school and it made such a difference for me. I want to be able to help students and build their confidence one to one just like I do in my classrooms when I am teaching at school.
Educating in an engaging and meaningful way, allowing pupils to relate their learning to real life is how I teach.
I am patient and understanding. Outside of teaching I love to travel and be in the outdoors.
My Engineering background means I am very interested in how things work and how physics applies to the real world, and I like to pass that on to my students.

As an experienced qualified teacher of Physics I am able to run engaging lessons, tailored to your learning needs.
I can offer an introductory 15minute discussion free of charge so that I am able to understand the level of the student and how they like to learn. Also this allows you to decide if you would like to be taught by me.
I run one to one online lessons with structure so that skills are able to build and knowledge is practiced and retained.
As a tutor I find it more beneficial to focus on exam questioning and technique (as this is something my pupils in school all benefit from).
I tutor GCSE and A-Level physics, all exam boards including international. I am also able to teach IB Physics.
My Qualifications/Experience: MEng (1st) University of Sheffield, Siemens Engineer and Maths and Physics Tutor, PGCE in Physics Secondary Teaching, 3 years experience in British State system, 2 years experience in an international school and now head of physics.
I am patient and understanding, I have a real passion for physics and aim to share that will all of my students.
