About Thomas
My name is Thomas, and I am a UK-qualified primary teacher with over 6 years of teaching experience in both mainstream and SEN schools. I am currently teaching at an international school in Dubai, where I deliver high-quality lessons that help students achieve their full potential. As a teacher, I pride myself on being professional, supportive, and adaptable. I understand that every learner is unique, so I use a range of methods to make sure lessons are clear, engaging, and tailored to the student’s needs. Parents and students can trust that I bring structure, patience, and enthusiasm to every session. My lessons are student-focused, practical, and confidence-building. I adapt my teaching to each learner, using clear explanations, visuals, and step-by-step guidance until concepts “click.” For English, this includes reading fluency, comprehension, grammar, writing skills, and vocabulary development. A typical lesson lasts one hour, although I adjust the pace depending on the student’s needs and focus. Lessons are interactive and engaging, with activities that encourage active participation rather than passive listening. I am a UK-qualified primary teacher with over 6 years of classroom experience, currently teaching internationally in Dubai. I have taught both in mainstream and SEN schools, which has equipped me with the ability to differentiate and support a wide range of abilities. My lessons are ideal for: Primary students (KS1–KS2) who need extra support in English Learners who want to build confidence in reading, writing, and grammar Students preparing for assessments or moving from one curriculum to another Individuals or small groups (with discounts available for siblings/friends) I aim for every student to leave a lesson not only with improved skills but also with greater confidence and motivation.
