About Nazifa

I am a qualified primary school teacher with over 10 years’ experience, specialising in Early Years and Key Stage 1. I am passionate about helping young children build confidence, develop strong foundations in learning, and enjoy their education. I have extensive experience working with children of all abilities, including those with special educational needs and hearing impairments, and I am skilled at adapting lessons to suit each child’s individual needs. I have taught phonics, early reading, writing and maths, and use a calm, nurturing approach to support progress. I am friendly, patient, and approachable, and I pride myself on building strong relationships with both children and parents. My aim is to create a positive, supportive learning environment where every child feels encouraged and able to succeed.

About the lesson

Fun, engaging, and tailored to each child’s needs, my lessons are full of energy and encouragement. I support phonics, early reading, writing, and maths through interactive activities, games, and hands-on learning. I use a calm, nurturing approach to build confidence, spark curiosity, and help children enjoy learning while making steady progress.

Nazifa has tutored for primary level English and Maths for my nieces. She is extremely patient, organised and friendly with young children and this allows them to feel comfortable in her presence, which has allowed them to be able to focus. They were struggling with primary school lessons and needed an extra support to help aid their performance during school. I arranged weekly sessions for both English and Maths.
