About Shabana
I have been teaching and supporting primary aged children in a school environment as well as in private tutoring and on a one-to-one basis. Rest assured that all efforts will be made to ensure that you are most comfortable and learn at your own pace without making anything too demanding. Your learning will be in your own control and I will guide you through as you develop those independent learning skills. These skills, once learned will work as tools for years to come for whenever you sit down for learning anything new.

My lessons are 1 hour long but consist of 40-minute video call/synchronous learning, followed by 20 minutes offline for asynchronous learning where children make notes independently and message these back for marking. I use this technique to avoid overwhelm and allow room for better processing information learned. Children have choice of switching the 20 mins as start of lesson instead if that suits them better.
